CodeOne took part in the 3rd Cold Logistics Seminar, promoted by APLOG – Associação Portuguesa de Logística, with a joint presentation with ZOR on the subject of “Sustainable and Intelligent Delivery of Sensitive Food Products: Innovation in Traceability, Reuse and Condition Monitoring”.
During the session, Daniel Oliveira (CodeOne) and Manuel Pizarro (ZOR) presented the latest developments in the field of centralized, real-time monitoring of the logistics chain, with a focus on the critical “last mile” phase. The solution presented combines GPS location technologies with advanced sensors and edge computing capabilities, making it possible to remotely monitor the temperature and humidity of container boxes along the entire distribution route.
The physical component of the solution is ensured by the intelligent container boxes developed by ZOR, specially designed to ensure rigorous management of thermal conditions. This integrated approach responds to the growing challenges of sustainability and food safety in cold logistics, promoting efficiency, traceability and intelligent reuse of resources.
